Hormonal Evaluation
Hormone testing to assess ovarian reserve, ovulation patterns, and cycle health for fertility planning.
What's Included
a. Anti-Müllerian Hormone (AMH) Reflects ovarian reserve (egg quantity). Clinical relevance: Guides ovarian stimulation in IVF, predicts menopause onset. Evidence: WHO recommends AMH for assessing ovarian reserve.
b. FSH (Follicle Stimulating Hormone) Measured on day 2–3 of cycle; assesses ovarian function. High FSH indicates diminished ovarian reserve.
c. LH (Luteinizing Hormone) Essential for ovulation; abnormal levels suggest PCOS or luteal phase defects.
d. Estradiol (E2) Monitors ovarian response and endometrial preparation.
e. Progesterone (P4) Confirms ovulation and luteal phase adequacy.
