Purpose
Ultrasound helps assess the uterus, ovaries, and pelvic anatomy to identify causes of infertility and to monitor ovulation and treatment response.
Visualize uterus, ovaries, and pelvic anatomy.
Measures: Follicle count, ovarian cysts, uterine shape, fibroids, polyps, endometriotic cysts, and tubal abnormalities (via saline sonography).

Procedure
A transvaginal or abdominal probe is used to scan pelvic organs—non-invasive and usually painless.
Scan Type
Transvaginal ultrasound for detailed pelvic views, or abdominal ultrasound when needed.
Ovarian Assessment
Checks follicle count, ovarian cysts, and response to stimulation.
Uterus Assessment
Evaluates uterine shape, lining, fibroids, and polyps.
Treatment Monitoring
Used to monitor ovulation, plan timed intercourse/IUI, and guide IVF stimulation and lining preparation.
